Thanks to Melissa for having me come out to her property to take some photos of her 2 horses. I went in the fenced area with her and the horses and she was feeding them constantly to keep their attention, but every now and then they curious of me and my camera and would tower over me as I was taking their photo... I got a little nervous a few times, but they were sweet horses, plus I grew up riding horses and I enjoy being around them, so I really had fun overall and I got to feed them some carrots too!

I went to take some outside photos of Reese and Tyson (they are the kids on the front page of my website & storefront where the little girl is hugging the little boy in the hat) it's one of my favorite photos... Anyway, it was cold, but it was a lot of fun... Tyson is 2 and kept stumbling everywhere we went, it was pretty funny! I also took some photos of their new baby brother....

Stacy and her Great Dane Motley came in for a photo session... Motley was pretty nervous, so we did a couple photos in studio and then headed outside to The Grove Arcade in Downtown Asheville and Motley met a new friend along the way!

Hey Everyone! Yes, I've finally started blogging!

Alisha Silver Photography opened for business in October 2008... 19 Wall Street in Downtown Asheville. I love the location and it couldn't have worked out more perfect... I share this wonderful space with Leslie Hawkins of Spellbound Children's Bookshop so come check us out when you are downtown!
