Halloween Dog Festival

Well, I must say the 2009 Halloween Dog Festival was so much fun and a great turn out! There were all sorts of dogs, large and small, some dressed up and some came to watch. There were contests, kissing booths, adoptions and pet friendly businesses. There are several hundred photos, but these are some of my favorites! Happy viewing...

My sister is expecting!!

So, I haven't blogged in forever and I have so much to show and will be coming soon, but I shot my sister's "belly" this weekend when I went to VA for her baby shower and had to post just a few for now because I am so excited for her and her new baby boy Parker who should be arriving in mid-December. I promise to make some updates soon for those of you checking in, it has been super busy for me, from multiple weddings, little ones and babies and of course some doggies!! In the mean time, happy viewing : )

Mike + Mary

I was honored to photograph Mike and Mary's wedding on June 20, 2009 at the Maggie Valley Country Club. It was a very hot, bright and sunny day, but the wedding was beautiful and Mary has been so sweet to work with! I remember her bouquet of white roses was so huge, bigger around than her waist! She looked stunning! The reception was full of kids + lots of dancing and they all got to use the "bubble guns" as the couple exited. Katie + Andrew engagement

I really enjoyed time with Katie and Andrew for their engagement session, actually even before the session when they took me out to lunch. We then went to The Princess Anne Hotel in Asheville, where they will get married later this year. They were such a wonderful and easy going couple to work with and made my job so easy. They are so sweet together and I am looking forward to their wedding.

Ryan + Cortney 8-2-09

Ryan and Cortney came to Asheville from Tennessee to get married at Homewood. They have been together since 7th grade so they were ready to make it official! I was so happy that they asked me to be their photographer. On the way to the wedding it was pouring and by the time everyone was ready for some photos, we lucked out and it had stopped raining for the day. Cortney and Ryan were into some creative photo ops and even had some ideas of their own, so we had lots of fun throughout the day! The reception was so much fun, lots of dancing and great music! For their exit, they ran through a lot of bubbles and when they got closer to me, he dipped and kissed her amongst all the bubbles and their friends, it was great! However, that wasn't the end, he had a surprise for her back inside... he sang to her and it was such a sweet moment! Checkout my Facebook page to view some of the images
